Hi everyone! We miss you and we hope you are doing well in every way!
You may have noticed that we haven't posted in a while, and that's because for the past few weeks we've been just like you. We've been at home, working remotely, parents, expert shoppers, gardeners, dieticians and homeschool teachers. We've simply been doing what it takes to make sure our family, our business, and our community is happy and secure. Frankly, we've been letting it all sink in while staying focused on our work and optimistically planning for the future. Social media just hasn't been a concern for a while, but we miss you! We felt like it was time to reach out to our online community to see how they are handling this and let them know how we are doing. Here's a little update for you. Feel free to chime in with us and let us know how you're doing, and if there's anything we can do to help you. Rest assured, Josh Skehan Productions is here for you during this storm and will be here, stronger then ever, when it recedes!
Foremost, we made the decision early on to make sure our vendors were all paid up and waive any penalties for any and all customers who had to postpone their events or projects due to the virus. The Fall season was the busiest on record for us and to this date we are still at a pace to achieve record revenues for this fiscal year. So, while our industry has been decimated in many ways, specifically in regards to events, and while there is much strategizing we have to do for the future of our industrty as a whole, our business continues to thrive because we're technology based and well diversified.

Not only are we working on editing projects from previous videos shoots, but we've also been helping some of our customers produce vital interviews, remotely, using video conferencing and other technologies. We've been providing aerial video production and photography as an essential service because certain aerial projects are required for real estate and some organizations, and the work can be completed without any human contact. In addition, many of our customers who had budgets set aside for events that are now postponed have found ways to make use of those budgets by getting creative with editing and production techniques. Just think, if your business is critical in a time like this, perhaps you manufacture vital healthcare components, have a unique product that saves money or frustration, or provide ever so important telecommunications, now is the time market your product or service, and even with lockdowns still in place there is a plethora of ways to do that.
Today we're sharing a small sample of video editing projects that we're working on. Autodesk's Forge platform helps you unlock the power of your design and engineering data so you can connect teams, workflows, and build new services to address today's connected customer. And Josh Skehan Productions unlocks the power of video to help Forge promote their product and attract new customers by creating professional customer story videos. This video was captured at Autodesk University in Las Vegas, but a video like this could potentially be produced in it's entirety without any human to human contact. Curious how? Just ask us, and see why leading edge companies like Autodesk continue to rely on Josh Skehan Productions for their event and promotional video needs.
